The majority of clients presenting for hypnotherapy will be experiencing pain to a greater of lesser degree. This will consist of physical or emotional pain or more commonly a combination of both. This course is designed to offer hypnotherapists a whole range of tools and valid interventions to deal with pain. By the end of the course therapists will have enhanced their understanding of pain as well as increasing their confidence and competency levels to deal with this challenging subject.

- Secondary gain
- Quantum methods and the Holistic method
- Managing and controlling pain
- Visualisation methods: positive distraction
- Recognising pain trances: inducing pleasure trances
- Learned responses and client empowerment

Applicants for this course would be expected to be practising hypnotherapists or in training to be a hypnotherapist.

£200. Payment may be spread over a period of up to four months by arrangement.

Distance learning option:
Suitably qualified applicants may undertake this course via distance learning, although the Academy does recommend live training as offering an excellent opportunity for practical experience of the techniques being taught.
Assessment:
The course will be accompanied by a short question paper which maps to the learning outcomes.
